Surely Zion can be a small ball 5 on defence.
Draymond and Tucker are the same height and weigh less and they both defend the 5

Both of those guys, Draymond especially, have basketball IQ in spades. Draymond also has 3-4 inches of wingspan over Zion.
And Neither of these guys have to carry the offensive load for their teams.
It’s possible you can get away with a lineup of
NAW, Hart/Naji, Ingram, Murphy, Zion
Against certain teams for small stretches, but you aren’t going to be able to defend and rebound against a team like the Lakers, Brooklyn, Philly, or even Utah without Hayes or Jonas on the floor.
