If you have the envie to get this out to the world, you can create social media accounts for this stuff.

I would say the easiest would be an Instagram. I would venture to say that you'll have over 5,000 followers within a week if you post 1 item at a time with decent captions & tags/hashtags of relevance.

You will be amazed at the people who will come out of the woodwork to provide you more historical info & others who have direct connections to your relative & the posts/pictures/patches/etc.
