I’ve told the long detailed version story of this before. it took me countless hours of time and almost an entire year of my life to convince AT&T that I no longer lived in Houston and shouldn’t be being billed for their services. At one point I had to deal with a collection agency and send in current New Orleans bills.

If you are thinking about using them for U-verse cable or internet please spend your money elsewhere. frick AT&T

This is the root of it. The problem stems from zero competition. The overwhelming majority has a max of two options and alot of people just get one. The whole who sucks more debate is a matter of experiences and varies case to case because they all suck. Personally I've had absolutely unacceptable experiences with Cox compared to ATT. ATT still sucks but it's been painless in comparison.

Cox never even came and buried the frickin wire
