Well, you also need to check out the property and sales taxes in those states--they are still getting revenue from their citizens.

Louisiana has both with some of the highest sales taxes in the country.

Texas property taxes are insane and more than make up for not having a state income tax. Florida makes all their money off tourists so you get best of both worlds when it comes to taxes. Downside is you have to live amongst Floridians.
