It's pretty much well known that sequels don't come close to the originals.

Woodstock in 69 can never be duplicated as a cultural/counter-cultural event. To try is a lesson in futility.

I mean, Woodstock 99 was intended to be nothing but a massive (poorly planned) money-grab.

I don't know. Woodstock 94 was pretty good. 25 year anniversary. But yeah, Woodstock 99 was a straight cash grab.
