Say a roadway section of a bridge falls down every time there’s high wind. This happens a few times a year. Everyone “should” know not to drive on that bridge if the wind is blowing.

But the same section of bridge keeps being put up - and the government, who is responsible for the bridge, doesn’t fix the issue - wouldn’t it be the government’s fault and not the driver’s?

I’m all for personal responsibility. But at what point do you point at the government and say “you are in charge, this happens regularly, and you haven’t tried to fix it”? What should come from this is a solution to the problem, not a payday.

Those underpasses should be changed to over passes or raise the train tracks. Acadian has flooded long enough at that underpass. Hopefully this lawsuit will get some things changed.

You can always tell who the douchebag plaintiff lawyers are in these threads. Like rats to cheese.
