Vaccines are working to minimize the effects of the virus on a person, but does not stop it from spreading.
Covid is a part of out lives now. There will be spikes. Vaccines wear off, antibodies go away, new strains develop.

When over 90% of those currently hospitalized with Covid are not vaccinated, I'd say the vaccines are working.
