Apparently there’s been a swap!! Tier 1 source so it’s all but 100% confirmed:
Also Lamela leaving means the last of the Bale signings from 8 years ago has moved on
quote:
Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano EXCL. Tottenham and Sevilla are finalizing a new swap deal: Erik Lamela to Sevilla, Bryan Gil to Spurs. Agreement set to be reached on permanent deal and here we go soon! ?? #THFC Sevilla will also receive €25m + add ons included as part of the deal.

I think Lamela's last match for Spurs was his rabona/red card masterclass vs Arsenal.
Honestly a perfect ending for him.

Sums up his time at Tottenham quite nicely.

Paratici starting to raid Serie A..won’t update on Page 1 until confirmed but looking good

Tottenham have an agreement on personal terms with Argentinian centre back Cristian Romero until June 2026. It’s not true that the player is refusing Spurs. ?????? #THFC Tottenham and Atalanta are now negotiating on the fee - still no agreement reached, talks on.

This is exactly the kind of player we need at the back. Stong in the air, reads the game well, and isn't afraid to make a tackle. Putting him in the middle of a back 3 could make such a big impact on the entire backline.
I'm really interested to see what Nuno's preferred formation is with this club. I really think 3 at the back fits our current squad.

I'm curious as to how he handles having Reguillon and Seseegnon.

Let’s move Kane for 160 if that’s the offer. Get this shite done so it doesn’t drag out any longer.
Also very beta of this guy to want to go to Man City to “win trophies”. No wonder he chokes in finals.

I think you’re wrong about Kane, I think he’d be happy to stay and win trophies for Spurs, too bad the club doesn’t feel the same.

Outside of the transfer window when Spurs didn't sign anyone; I'm curious how much more money fans expect a club without Oil money to spend after they built the best stadium in Europe.

I still find it hilarious that Spurs made it to the UCL final the season following that summer window .

It’s not like he didn’t have chances. He’s played in a few finals here and it feels like things are moving in a positive direction now with Paratici and Nuno.
I mostly just think it’s weak to go to the best team because you want to ring chase. I’ve always respected guys that start their own party rather than join someone else’s.

If 160m is indeed the number I think you have to take it, and I’d be ok with him moving on. I feel a little bit better with Paratici at the wheel identifying who to spend that money on rather than Levy & hitchen. I just hope that if they do plan to sell him they are able to get their guys before the Kane business becomes official so other clubs don’t drive up their prices on Tottenham targets. Just the speculation of Kane being sold probably makes negotiating price a bit harder already.

Scenes when Kane plays out his contract at Spurs and then goes to Bayern on a free to replace Lewandowski.

Continuing with the raiding Serie A theme

Tottenham Hotspur @SpursOfficial ?? We are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini from Italian side Atalanta on a season-long loan, with an option to make the transfer permanent.

I firmly believe we are getting Romero over the line this weekend. Lot of smoke with Toby to the Middle East as well.
Great window so far. With Gil, Romero, Gollini. Would love one more CB and then depending on Kane news, at least 1 more striker.
Then move on Winks and Sissoko.
