re: Question about recruiting pressure on local Kids?

There is a strong “ if you aren’t a Tiger you are Tiger Bait” attitude. There aren’t many programs that can compete with what LSU offers a player, so it’s not like fans are completely off base. So I think way more than most places, if you go elsewhere, LSU fans want you to stay there. It’s just regional and Institutional pride. So if a kid goes elsewhere, many people will kind of unofficially disavow him and consider him as outside the tribe. Not condoning, just saying.
