ceiling fans suck in the Louisiana heat. Get one that mounts to the wall in a corner and it'll move some air.

I already have a 30” pedestal that oscillates and a couple 20” I move around the patio. I believe both styles have their place and plan on getting some permanent wall mounted fans for other locations down the road.
