Playing with two groups of 3 coming up. Handicaps 14 and up. What are some good betting games for both groups?

Skins, Birdies, Eagles, Greenies, Sandies, Snake, Woodies, Whalies...

Hard to play Wolf with only 3 unless you use Par or Bogey as a partner.

5,3,1.

Person that wins the hole gets 5 points, second 3, last 1. Two tie then 4,4,1 or 5,2,2. Three tie 3,3,3.

Determine what the point values are worth before ($1,$5, etc).

Good one for threesomes, but it can get out of hand for the loser if he’s a significantly higher handicap. Be careful with the denominations of the points

Survivor is the correct answer

Each hole one person is the survivor and it changes every hole. When you are survivor it’s you vs the other two players best ball format. Ties equal no blood and does not go to second man. In other words if the survivor shoots par, team member 1 par and team member 2 bogey then its a tie.

Survivor can double the bet after all drives have been taken (can also inspect the shots). If the survivor doubles then the opposing two players could also re-double before second shots are taken. Bet goes back to what it started on the hole.

Person down the most money can double the bet on the tee box before drives are taken. Once double that’s the bet for the next hole unless it gets doubled again.

Can get up there trust me. We usually start out at .50 or $1 and it always ends up over $100 a hole at the end.

We call this game “9 point”

That’s why you play it with handicaps. So that everyone has a fighting chance every hole..

Banker is perfect for 3 people. Every hole has a banker and the banker sets the minimum amount and maximum amount that can be bet. Each player plays the banker seperately. Presses make the holes worth double, but for par 3's you have to call your press before the ball hits the ground, which makes the press worth triple
