Her excuse is pathetic. Many people lose a family member, parent and don’t require illegal drugs to cope with loss.
It’s the sign of a weak person that relies on drugs and alcohol to deal with the loss of a parent. It is a horrible thing when a lived one passes but now people have decided to find more excuses to justify illegal and rule-breaking activity.
