Per Marc Stein:

quote:

Some of these major hits are obviously freak injuries: Kyrie Irving (ankle), Jaylen Brown (wrist), Trae Young (ankle), Giannis' fall tonight.

Many are soft-tissue: Anthony Davis (groin), James Harden (hamstring), Kawhi Leonard (knee), Joel Embiid (knee), Mike Conley (hamstring).

Look at the list of the players with soft tissue injuries. The only one that doesn't have an extensive injury history is Harden.

I mean Harden played in 44 games and Davis in 36. I get that the quick turnaround and so many games in so many nights could've caused some of these injuries, but I'm not sure it's as big a deal as it's being made out to be.

Harden (conditioning/hamstring)

Sorry I can't let this one go. Give a frick Harden wouldn't have shown up with bitch tits to the NBA season like the version of Harden we got this year. His conditioning 100% led to the hammy.

the hawks had the most time off possible and way more than normal since they didnt even play in the bubble, plus a shortened season, and still had a ton of injury issues.

Harden's brain tissue has been soft for about a decade now. Especially soft during clutch time.
