I had a 2008 Ridgeline, put 200K+ miles on it with not a single issue. Other than a couple recalls due to airbags, it never went to the dealer. It did everything I needed it for, including pulling my tractor and boat. Drove it cross country a few times as well.
If you live your life frightened some cowpoke will giggle that you have a ridgeline, don't buy one.
Unless you plan on towing a dozer, gigantic camper or loaded livestock trailer, get one, you won't regret it.
5000# towing capacity is easily sufficient for most people.
