Irrigation system leg issues- knocking and low flow rate

I am having difficulty purging air from an irrigation leg. I’ve removed sprinkler heads, let the system run for 30 minutes, and the line is still knocking. It is the only leg I’m having issues with. Any suggestions for flooding this leg? Would it help if I fab a connection to hook up a hose pipe into the leg?
Some heads receive constant flow, albeit with low pressure. Some sputter and knock. Some do nothing.
ETA: I’ve located the valve and the solenoid is clicking. I will replace to see if it fixes the issue.

Is ii possible you have a crack/loose joint in that irrigation leg usually around a line restriction, causing a Venturi effect (drawing air into the water line as water moves rapidly through it)? Something to consider.

Turn the valve on manually and not with the controller. If it functions correctly then you know the solenoid is malfunctioning

Flowmax for the low flow problem and Ropinrole for the restless leg syndrome. Worked for me...I can pee like a racehorse but not kick like one in bed.
