Has anyone played this yet. Kind of cartoonish but I am enjoying the mechanics.

Its addicting, they've added a ton of new layers compared to 2. You can make your own franchise team and make a dynasty and now they keep up with players stats from season to season. Hopefully SMB4 will have a draft. I would love for this studio to make a football game

You serious? I basically just swing for the fences with any batter with at least a decent power rating. Even on difficulties of 50+ I probably still hit at least 6 or 8 HRs a game. You can definitely hit a homer with a contact swing, but you're much more likely with a power swing and getting 80% or plus 'charge'.

To the original question, I ended up picking this game up for the Switch based off this board's recommendation a few months back and I've put quite a bit of time into it. It's definitely a fun game. It's more of an 'arcade' style than 'simulation' style, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'd recommend it.

They took forever to do the online league stuff which made me lose interest. I was a big advocate for the game after buying the first two. Three was full of promises which took way longer than expected. The pennant mode has gotten better it seems. I picked it back up last weekend for the first time in over a year. Hope if and when they make a 4th version, it is more complete out the gate.

no I got it now

My problem was that my batting target was being set too high with every pitch, therefore was hitting alot of grounders and nothing really in the air

So yeah averaging around 10-15 hrs a game now

I haven’t played in a long time. I remember loving it, but I think if the ball was up in the strike zone hitting it solidly was almost impossible. There were a few other oddities I didn’t care for but I played the crap out of it
