A coach whose background is pitching can identify, recruit and sign better pitchers.
Top prospects are committing their freshmen and sophomore years these days. You better have an eye for talent and be able to project where a kid will end up.
If it were me, I'd devote the majority of my 11.7 on arms and fill out the rest of the roster with TOPS. This is similar to what O'Sullivan does at Florida but he has better in-state talent to work with.
