The AD is doing his job. He wants to interview as many qualified candidates as possible before making an informed decision. He can't interview a couple guys until they have left Omaha.
It doesn't mean he knows who he wants yet, and that is just fine. Take your time Woody.

Godwin has more skins on the wall than Vitello, other than Vitello's two-and-out in Omaha this season. Not sure why Vitello is considered such a better candidate.

I think Bianco could have succeeded at LSU but I believe in LSU baseball exceptionalism.
But Godwin has been to more Super Regionals than Bianco since he got to ECU.
There is an better argument that all Godwin needs is More resources than an argument that Bianco needs more resources.

Agree.
Any of the coaches we have heard about in this pursuit would be acceptable, even Bianco. However, his program is closer to LSU as far as recourses go, and not sure how much higher a ceiling he would have.

Because we have recruits and current players flapping in the wind. Currently we have semi-retired Paul fielding calls from recruits trying to assure them we’re getting someone good.
If you’re getting Godwin, there’s no reason to pussyfoot around for this long.

Tell me exactly who, at this current moment, is just waiting on a coaching hire to decide if they will remain at LSU? The MLB draft hasn't even happened yet. That is going to factor into a lot of those players decisions more than the coaching hire. Same with recruits. Where are they going to go?
Are you trying to sit here and say that recruits/current players will decide on the MLB (without being drafted yet), or transfer out at this point if a coach isn't hired within the next few days?
So go ahead, name me who exactly we are at risk of losing if the hire isn't made right away.
