Great idea actually. Ump/ref knows once he goes under the hood a clock starts. Take your look, make a judgement. If you need more time, sorry coach it wasn’t obvious enough.
Overthinking it is how the worst reviews happen.

So what? Man, it was 11:00, what else was pressing for our time at that hour of the night? I actually thought it created a lot of drama and don't tell me we had someplace else to be. We haven't seen a playoff game unfold like that and with the inbound play to Ayton, and the time it took, that was just a strange play. Sort it out and get it right.
