This is what we need. Wall to wall talking heads giving bad advice to degenerates who are just begging to give their money away.

It's a marketing scheme. These radio stations that talk sports betting exist to funnel people into sportsbooks so they can lose their money. And then get kickbacks from the sports books for sending people their way.

I wouldn't even call the garbage they talk about on these sports betting shows "advice". It's shite. It certainly isn't going to help you win I can tell you that.

Sports betting radio is such a horrible product. It's no different than traditional sports talk radio. You're not going to give good advice by saying "I think X team covers against Y because Z". Any actual advice that helps someone win will be rooted in machine learning algorithms, coding, and being able to extract and manipulate large data sets. Not someone's opinion extracted from their arse.

I've always said 1 in 100 actually profit long term betting on sports but I would say in reality the number is probably closer to 1 in 1,000 or 1 in 10,000.

The big sponsors behind this show will be businesses looking to profit off of sports betting. BetMGM(sportsbook) and BetQL(touting service) are the two main drivers here. BetQL sells the fantasy, and BetMGM does the booking.

Sports Betting Radio programs are so bad. When I go to Circa you see VSiN right there and its terrible. Absolutely terrible. FOX Bet Live, Daily Wager, its all bad. And by design. These shows exist not to give good advice but to herd people into sportsbooks like lambs to the slaughter and those producing the shows receive a cut of the losses.

Because without complex data science/machine learning algorithms you don't stand a chance. Even with those things you still will probably lose. It's just too difficult.
