Flip LeBron and Mitchell and I’ll accept this list as legitimate and honest

Certainly can make the case for that. I put LeBron higher because he was really good before the ankle injury.

But like I said, at this stage of his career, you don’t bounce back from injuries at age 37. He’s already wearing down even without the ankle.

LeBron, at this stage of his career, is more realistically 3rd team All-NBA (which is still very good since like 300 people comprise NBA rosters) than 1st or 2nd, he can’t play defense at the level he did in Miami all he does is his patented chase down blocks, he doesn’t display the explosiveness he did in Miami and Cleveland circa 2016 on a consistent basis, his 4th quarter FT numbers are in full plummet if not his overall FT numbers which is BAD for a supposed all-time great, he operates more as veteran overseer of a game which is what other legends at this advanced stage of their respective careers did except for Jordan. I think people still rank LeBron absurdly high at this late stage because they’re chasing the memory of those early Cleveland/Miami years, reputation, not actual merit. Idk why people think it’s a slight if I rank him as the 12th best current player in the NBA out of 300 contracted players.
