Sat there for one the 06 FL game...they are good seats right close to the team. It is hard to see the whole field because the seats are so low. If I remember right it was like the 40 yrd. line.

Just FYI, do not try to pull anything there. They have zero tolerance for LSU students. I know from experience. They sit you right close to some FL students and they get away with crap but the LSU bunch gets hassled by rent-a-cops. The fans at FL are the worse in the SEC. They have zero places to take a piss. I hate that place and will never go back again. With that said, have a good time.

Even waay up at the top of BHG stadium far away from students, Deputies of teh Gainesville SD will be posted near by (every ten rows in the LSU section) to keep you from cheering too loud or standing up too long.

I believe you... they would not let us stand and were standing in the isles yelling down telling people to sit down. And if they didn't they went down the isle and pulled you down...if you resisted they pulled you out of the stands...no joke..saw it numerous times and we couldn't believe it.

But here is the kicker...the FL students were in the section to the left and a little higher and ALL were standing on their seats laughing at us. I'll never forget that. I got yanked out the game for catching one of their FL beach balls and popping it with my pocket knife. They pulled me out and charged me with being a terrorist.

North east side of the stadium so you get a full frontal of Florida sun during day games. I sat in the Florida section in 06, it wasn't too bad. I found the seating to be pretty cramped though.

I would have, but I didn't get my one phone call.

I got to the "secret rent-a-cop room" where these guys take their job waaaay too seriously. Kinda like bouncers who like to get together and talk about bouncing. (ron white) anyways.. they didn't cuff me, but they did take another guy who poured a coke on the cop that pushed his gf to the ground trying to arrest the terrorist. But it was my senior year and I never got in trouble before at school and thought I was going to have to see the dean at LSU for me catching a freakin beach ball that the UF students were spiking down on us and popping it. That place is a joke.

That's fricked up. The last time I went was back when Zook was coaching and we beat the shite out of them. Their fans are hands down the scum of the SEC. Granted, LSU fans can be obnoxious, but UF fans are downright mean and very confrontational. I hear that they've actually gotten worse in recent years, perhaps they feed off the behavior of their douchebag coach.

I know LSU has got some trashy fans, but seemed like most every UF fan was trash. ALL yelled at us, not just like "Gator Bait", more like "F U LSU" and "You guys can't swim out of this one like you did in Katrina" stuff like that. I will NEVER go back there.

What's ironic is that I ran into some of them in the BR airport when I flew in for the LSU/UF game. I was wearing an LSU shirt and they were next to me at the baggage claim. One lady asked me if LSU fans were as bad as advertised and wanted to know what to expect since it was their first trip to Death Valley. I told her about my experience in Gainesville and how many LSU fans came back with similar stories. Her response was "Oh shite, we're screwed then." It was priceless.

Priceless indeed. When we beat UF last year I could have cried..that made my season right there. I think every school has some bad things to say about every school. I lurk on some SEC sites and I have come across people talking about how bad Auburn is and I had a very good experience there, and it was the same year that we got beat by that bad reversal call. AU fans seemed to be good sports and stuff. But I saw numerous LSU fans, including families, get hassled by UF fans terribly. I just don't see that going on much at LSU. You will get the "Tiger Bait" but that is friendly jest and rivalry. Just like AU calling us "corndogs" I don't really care and makes no since nonetheless, but they get off on it and it's not really hatred.
