He will recuse himself. That's how real life works. We aren't getting any advantage from this.

He may care about Notre Dame more than LSU, but you can’t ban someone from considering any team that may be a challenge to LSU. For instance, if it’s between LSU and another team for 4th, he can still argue against that team and argue (and vote) that #6 is actually better than that team.
