Good news this might be good for LSU. Bad news this might be good for Notre Dame too.

From the shite paper called the advocate:

Rod West, a New Orleans native and former chairperson of the LSU Board of Supervisors, was appointed Wednesday to the College Football Playoff selection committee.

CFP executive director Bill Hancock announced that West, a former Notre Dame football player, will replace Gen. Ray Odierno on the 13-person committee.

He will recuse himself. That's how real life works. We aren't getting any advantage from this.

Rod graduated from Brother Martin with my brothers and played on probably BMs best team in its history, even though they lost a crazy heartbreaker to St Martinville in the semis. But Rod is a good dude, happy for all his successes. And I’ll add that Michigan’s Athletic Director Warde Manuel was also on that 85 team.

I know Rod. He is a straight up guy. Love that he is on the committee.
