I worked at a place that had a dude overdose in the parking lot while leaving for lunch. car rolled up and stopped when it hit the building. they had to give him narcan or whatever it is called. they gave him a month off and hired him back because they were apparently afraid of legal stuff. he made it through a layoff a couple months later and finally got laid off beginning of 2020 when things got slow. It was well known around the office that the dude didn't do anything. He was hired back late last year.
