I think this is a pretty positive development for the city. Destroya gets a lot of hate on this site (often earned) but she has pushed two fairly major items over the finish line - 1. she got a deal with the state to reallocate tourism dollars away from the convention center/tourism to infrastructure, and 2. This deal which adds a layer of power redundancy to the drainage system.

I’ll give her credit where I think credit is due. Unlike Mitch, I think she will leave the city with a better drainage system than she inherited. And hiring Korban instead of some local politician to run the SWB was likewise a big decision she got right.
