Guy that did ours used a hand steamer. Supposedly helps smooth things out

Guy at work did it.
Took his truck seats out and put in his shop.
Took the new seat covers and put them inside his truck layed out in the sun all day in June/July.
Got home from work that afternoon late and started putting them on. He'd go get the piece he needed one at a time. Said the heat really helped stretch the leather.
