I was saving up to put a down payment on a house there when living there before leaving my job. Even in the east end the houses are affordable.

The apartment I lived in was brand new(I was one of the first residents to move in) with nice amenities, fixtures, appliances, and finishes and I paid $850 a month for it. I paid over 3 times that amount for an apartment in San Diego that was not any nicer.
