The only time I got to go was in 2003 when we laid two giant eggs. But it was still a huge thrill to finally set foot in that place after watching so many games there.

Even after driving up there for a day and a half, as it was approaching in the distance, I was like, "Wow, that's really it."

Don't think I'd ever be saying the same with the bank trading ballpark.

Have gone to both parks several times each. The old park was great for tailgating and the game day experience. It was around the park and close and everyone had a great time.

The new park is more downtown and big time commercialized. You can’t tailgate close except in a big parking lot across from the back of the park. There are more bars and restaurants closer but that game day feel of the old park just isn’t there.

If you so get to go, do go to the zoo. The infield and right foul pole where Warren Morris hit his home run is still there. Also go to Barrett’s Barleycorn. They love some lsu fans.
