To make matters worse, I believe it's 30 minutes from when it last opened, not when it last closed. So being that the bridge typically stays open for 7-10 minutes, the bridge actually opens closer to every 20 minutes.

All for fricking leisure boats.

This isn't right.

"On signal" means when a boat hails them to open (or is obviously waiting for them to open). They open on the half hour and on the hour, except during rush hour, but only if a boat is waiting.
