Jenkins father said Jelani will be narrowing his list to 10-15 schools by the end of the month. Is LSU still recruiting Jelani? He's a beast on defense.

I'd like to see what you've been reading, because not even the recruiting sites have an idea where he's leaning or favoring. He doesn't talk to many people and his parents are very involved with his recruitment.
I just haven't really seen anything about him except the fact that no one has a clue where he's headed.

the fact that he is so wide open with several teams to choose from makes it a long shot.

Why does it make it different for LSU than any other school? Going by what we know, LSU has just as good of a chance than any other school in the country. If you're going to say LSU is a long shot, so is every other school that makes his list of 10-15.

Well.. if all is equal then we have around a 7% chance of getting him... I count that as a long shot.

well, we are probably a long shot geographically speaking
you just dont see many recruits from maryland leaving the northeast
I really think we have a shot though. If he visits for georgia or alabama, he is going to have a great visit and that will definitely leave an impression on him.

Doesn't even matter if LSU is recruiting him, any HS player who has a list of 10-15 schools will put LSU in there lol.

Yea i think we'll definitely make his cut and maybe.. just maybe we could make a play for him on an official visit

wow... that is only "narrowing" if he has about 250 schools offering scholarships
