I was thinking there’s no way after 6 months I could have gotten away with the car seat in the seat thing. It was great at 6 months though.

My child is about as independent as a child can get these days, so I lol at the thought of keeping her contained on an airplane

I would still buy the seat for her anyway, just to have the row to ourselves and have room for all of her stuff, even if she somehow agreed to sit in our laps for longer than 5 minutes

When we flew with my dude at 2.5 years old we brought the carseat on and he rode in it like a champ. Plus it was nice to already have it for the rental car. The worst part was having to haul it around the airport.

I hear that.

There was a turn about 8 mo where mine went from happy but chill to happy and wanting to get into everything. Plus, she's really unreasonable. It's like she doesn't fully understand English.
