Hearing that the Miss. State may be an early game. Is it common for LSU to play a homecoming game early?

It is common for LSU's SEC games to get moved because of tv. We don't normally play an SEC team for the Homecoming game so they are mostly at 7:00

I've asked the same question for months, most on here belive it will be 11:30 b/c of the JP/Linc Financial TV deal. Of course that was all pre-Gustav, if that means anything.

Not sure of State's schedule between now and then, but if they can manage to be 4-1 and we are 3-0, it is possible ESPN could pick it up for a late kickoff, most likely ESPN2. Just saying, it's possible.

They have Auburn and Ga. Tech up next. 4-1 is a long shot but I'm still keeping my hopes up for a night game.

Yeah, 2-2 is more likely. And if it is on ESPN2 at night, it would be 8:00PM.

TV dictates start times, not homecoming crap.

I hate that it's homecomming and all, but would you want any of the other games to be the JP/LF game? Ole Miss maybe, but not Bama or Georgia.

Alabama/Georgia and Tennessee/Auburn

That's the potential problem, CBS will likely pick one of these two, next is ESPN then it goes to JP. I hope like hell it's not 11:30 as I have family flying in and it will be their first game at TS. We need to hope (for obvious reasons) that Auburn tanks against Moo St and of course us. UT seems well on their way to mediocreville.

we shouldn't have to give Lincoln Financial crap. We are the premier team in the SEC. That game should be ESPN 2 at worst!

they did us some favors in the 90s by showing our games period. We were fricking horrible some of those years. shite is cyclical
