Why does Bryson have armed security walking with him?

I first noticed at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Well, a quick search did reveal this:

I noticed at the zurich a couple of the big teams had an armed guard with them. Rose / stenson did and champ and finau did as well.

Yep, but this guy is packing a big gun and wearing tactical pants & boots. Maybe Bryson’s guy is just more gung ho. He stays right on top of the guy between shots. Usually don’t notice the other security details on TV
