This is the total offense before Jefferson;

Vs Oregon 273 yards 3.9 yards per play
Vs NWST 400 yards 6.06 ypp
Vs MsSt 361 yards 5.55 ypp
Vs WVU 366 yards 5.3 ypp
Vs UK 348 yards 5.6 ypp

With Jefferson splitting time

Vs UF 453 yards 7.19 ypp
Vs UT 383 yards 5.55 ypp
Vs Auburn 393 yards 6.66 ypp
Vs Bama 239 yards 4.12 ypp

With Jefferson by himself

Vs W Kentucky 474 yards 8.03 ypp
Vs Ole Miss 458 yards 7.9 ypp
Vs Arkansas 494 yards 6.6 ypp
Vs UGA 237 yards 4.94 ypp

This clearly shows the difference in the offense as a whole when Jefferson was playing. It was more diverse, it was more open, they hit bigger plays. The problem was that we could not fool Bama, and Jeff was just horrible passing vs UGA.

That 2011 LSU team should have been playing Oklahoma St had not that tragedy happened right before that one game. LSU should be looking at 4 NCs since 2003.
