I’m not saying it’s right, but when you engage in a idiotic high speed chase, and officers finally catch up to you, they aren’t going to treat you with kid gloves. Adrenaline is a powerful thing and it can’t just be turned off with the flip of a switch because the chase ends. Therefore I have absolutely zero sympathy if you get punched in the face, tazed or called a stupid mother fricker in this situation.
