Any book recommendations on blockchain?

I am trying to learn more and become more familiar with this technology.
I would consider myself very much a novice, so books geared more towards someone with a very basic and rudimentary understanding of what blockchain is would be better.

I don't think a book is necessary unless you really want a physical reference for some reason. Everything you could possibly want to know about blockchain/DLT is available free online and relatively easily accessible.
There was a thread about this a few months back that had some refernces.

Honestly I just prefer books and I’m trying to spend more time reading books in general, so it kills two birds with one stone if there are some good ones out there

Not a book, but Gary Gensler taught a class 2 years back at the Sloan School on crypto/blockchain. The entire class was uploaded to YouTube by MIT. Watched it during the pandemic while working instead of podcasts for a few weeks. Really interesting.
MIT includes all the links to the suggested readings for the class, so you can just read through those if you’re deadset on reading.

Not a book, but cryptopia documentary was pretty decent for a beginner.
