For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A trough of low pressure is expected to form early next week over
the Bay of Campeche and the southwestern Gulf of Mexico. Subsequent
slow development of this system is possible as it drifts
northwestward to northward.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
