Just bite the bullet and boost to 58. It's gonna take you AT LEAST 4 days of play time 1-60. And that's like the speed runner time. Then you have to grind to 70 is another 50+ hours depending on how you level (dungeons/ quests/aoe grind)

It sounds like he rolled a blood elf and they aren’t eligible for the boosts. I would recommend making a new character now and saving the current one as an alt.

So, we ALL bit the bullet. I chose Troll Mage for the Beserking. In our little 4 man team we have a tauren warrior a Orc Shaman and a Undead Lock.

All of us hit 59 in mostly fresh boosted gear and some quest greens and a guild 63 druid tank pulled us through Ramps . Dear Lord..I didnt know that dying in ramps results in a corpse run from the gaveyard in Thrallmar. Luckily even though we wiped a few times in the begininng..the soulstone and Reincarnate worked well and we could rez the entire group without the corpse run.

The only downside of boosting is having to grind professions in the old content. Having a mage to do that makes it nice.

Our group has good synergy as well. I am tailoring/Ench , the lock is herb alc. Still really glad we all boosted and are playing with the server now.
