ive lived short periods in multiple states and by far the nicest people were in Oregon. It didnt matter if i went to a restaurant, grocery store, or a bar. Everyone was incredibly friendly

In the 3+ years that I've lived here, it seems like pretty much everyone that I've met is incredibly friendly. Not sure what it would be like to live in a city like Portland, Salem, or Eugene, though.

2nd Oregon. We did a charter fishing trip out of Pacific City. We offered our catch to the cpt and others as we were traveling for 10 days. He actually invited us to his camp with his family and he cooked our catch, fed us Dungeness crabs and provided the wine and beer. Genuinely nice folks.
