Dreadful movie-going West Coast
fricking Cinemark banned bags and search people sometimes. I had a movie theater not let me in because I had a small backpack.
Which is barely a woman's purse these days. So your date or wife is screwed.
Literally have to take them back to your car. AMC is cool though.

Theaters around here don't really care what you bring in as long as you're not blatant with it. There usually not even a ticket taker after the box office. Maybe that's because I usually hit the afternoon matinee on weekdays though. Can't remember the last time I went to see a movie on a Friday or Saturday night.
