if you want to shoot feral horses just go to the Ft. Polk area
several herds around there and I have seen several dead horses in the woods, most likely from someone shooting them (as they were near deer stands)

We’re “lucky” hogs aren’t as cuddly as horses and cats. Feral mammal populations are hard on the environment.
