fwiw yours is the target for many reasons, good and not so good.
we begin with the entire religion being tied to the notion that Jesus was born of a virgin.
oh sure.
and once 8 yr old you bought that one they slipped the ring onto your nose. didnt even hurt. 8 yr old you bought it.

the whole story *** is only fit for kids and insurance salesmen who have to pretend to believe the dominant paradigm.

*** the torture and death of a great person pays for 100% of your mistakes in life.
out of jail. all you do is believe the story.

sure.
The story is about sinful creatures being separated from a holy and righteous God by their sin and needing someone to come in and make things right so they are no longer separated from God.

Your materialistic worldview prevents you from accepting the miraculous because you reject that which you cannot observe (inconsistently, I might add).

Your sin separates you from God and you need the reconciliation on Jesus provides. Repent of your rebellion against the lord of hosts and put your trust in Christ's sacrifice on the cross and you will be forgiven and made a son of God and heir through adoption.

the premise you suggest is the false dichotomy.

i am not seoarated from God.
nothing i could do could separate me from God.

no one is separate from God.

i and the Father are One.
so it is with you and everyone. and every thing.

your story is based on a false premise. no one is apart from the divine.
