Every day feels like I'm failing my wife and kid.

Since the beginning of this year I've sent out 50 applications, curated pretty highly, almost all to local businesses. Our whole metro appears to be in a hiring blitz.

I've gotten 2 interviews and no offers. Wife tried to work some connections from her last employer and got nowhere.

Pretty sure all these HR gatekeepers see retail management and just throws my app in the trash. I'm only 32. I'm not asking for the fricking moon. I'm trying to be honest about my marketable skills and prospects (hence the curated applications).

Just fricking sucks your soul out every day.
