Charlie O all but said the A's moving to Atlanta was a done deal in the mid 60's but it was more or less about leveraging a better deal with Oakland.

Oakland is just like New Orleans without the great restaurants, shopping and Bourbon Street.

It didn't happen because, according to Charlie O, the New Orleans group of investors was "All hat and no cattle."
