I don’t think Hayes is far off. His potential is really high.

I would say the biggest potentials at the 5 are


Wiseman
Ayton
Hayes
Poku

In no specific order. Add Mobley from the upcoming draft also.

The 3 that Hayes just made is a sign of just how high his ceiling is. When you pair his athleticism with a high 3-pt percentage, you'll have an all-star.

Right, but they still have to play against the Goberts, Embiids, and Jokics of the league. Those guys don’t just disappear overnight.

If you’re saying he has the potential to be among the five best centers of the last three classes, then I’d agree that he has that ceiling.
