....if it were up to you to sign the bill into law (home/aways for both series), would you sign or veto?

I'd sign.

I would sign it, but it would never happen. Texas A&M's program has gone down the drain as it is (look at their recent success... oh wait) and then tell me why they would want to lose the few recruits they could pull in.

no ... college station is a dump ... I can think of many places I'd rather travel to every other year ... a home/home with UT would be much better

Strategic move on their part to pull recruits away from UT.

There's still four rotating games (2 SEC + 2 OOC).

Plus, LSU's variety over the last 10 years is not spicy enough for me. A&M's band, however, is.

Why not start a Texas Triangle series?

UT, A&M, and U of H just rotate them around.

Texas Tech is too frickin far.

i'm more about going the route of an SEC/Big 12 challenge

12 year contract where every team plays every other team from the other conference

some sort of system would be needed to see what game are home and away, but each would get 6 home and 6 away

I would also give jbirds' right testicle to see a home and home with UT happen.

What I'd sign off on, given the chance:

A 3 game series with Texas...1 in Austin, 1 in Baton Rouge, the last game at Reliant in Houston.

A home and home with Notre Dame. ND's not what it used to be but South Bend is a great setting for fans to travel to. Also, playing ND guarantees national exposure.

A home and home with USC. Everyone wants it to happen and LA is a great road trip for Tiger fans. Many could just fly into and stay in Las Vegas, just take buses to and from the game.

Lastly, I'd love a home and home with Penn State. Tigers haven't played them since the Orange Bowls of the early 70's and Happy Valley is quite an atmosphere. At least, they like to think it is, until they get a taste of Tiger Stadium at night.

I realize the tradition associated with LSU and these two schools......however I really wish LSU would schedule some better quality non-conference
opponents (or at least 1) and not APP ST..... however APP ST would probably beat Texas A&M and Tulane

i think the most realistic major non-conference scheduling possibility right now is Nebraska

Tulane would be okay...That could be our one in state "rivalry".

Schedule should be:
8 SEC foes
Tulane
2 00C BCS schools
1 cupcake

I was thinking about something like this the other day. Seems like a great idea.
