re: How long will you wait on a Dr. before leaving?

When my Pops had ALS his best doctor was his pulmonologist. His was the most smoothly ran office I have ever seen. It started with a sign in his office. It was on an easel sign and taped to the registration desk. It read, "If your wait is longer than 15 minutes please let us know and we will address it." It was their standard, and they did everything within their power to keep it. Only once did they not hit the 15 minute mark, and that was because an emergency issue with a patient happened. He saw us later that day and apologized profusely.
