The darker skin colored minorities are there for athletics and that’s not the “increasing diversity” that they would be seeing at Carroll HS. It’s a very misleading statement by the author of the article

How it is in much of Texas. Many Indians/Orientals in the Houston suburbs. They make good money and work hard and buy houses in areas with clean neighborhoods and good schools. Since there’s no systemic racism, their money works as good as white people’s money so they can live in those places.
