Yea, my understanding of waddle is that he’s ideally suited for slot work and underneath routes. Kind of a Julian Edelman type of route runner, just with ++ athleticism. He’s certainly capable of stretching the field, but I’m personally expecting far more drag and curl routes.


That said, I’ve also got waddle lower than most others. But that has far more to do with the guy throwing him the ball than with the routes he’ll be expected to run. And that there are just so many viable WR plays in today’s NFL.
